The Negroes Are Congregating in Geneva, Switzerland

The Negroes Are Congregating, written by Natasha Adiyana Morris, was recently presented in Geneva, Switzerland by Théâtre de l’Usine from January 17 – 19, 2019.

Producer, Troy De Four, and I’Usine’s team spent months arranging for Natasha and cast (Angaer Arop, David Delisca, and Dennis Langley) to present the piece during a double-bill evening with the UK artist Rachael Young for three unique and unforgettable evenings.

French is the official language of Geneva and so the play was translated and shown with full subtitles for the audience. The host theatre did an incredible job with outreach and providing translators for post-show talkbacks, filling each night with diverse faces.
