Been gone for a minute but we back with the jump off! Newly minted author Natasha Adiyana Morris will be celebrating at the Blackhurst Cultural Centre for the launch of her play, The Negroes Are Congregating (Playwrights Canada Press).

Doors for the FREE event will open at 6pm and goodup refreshments will be available. Excerpts from the play will be performed by actors Dennis W. Langley, Angaer Arop, and David Delisca, followed by an interview by the fab Bee Quammie.

Books will be for sale courtesy of A Different Booklist.

Love, Black Love 🖤
This intimate concert experience will encapsulate the myriads of black love through song. In collaboration with celebrated Artistic Director Tanisha Taitt, audiences can expect a curated live playlist of musical theatre and chart-topping songs by black artists. All sung by Toronto performers with a live band 🎸🥁🎤🎹
Songs by Anita Baker, Sam Cooke, Charlie Smalls, Mickey Guyton and more! 🎶
